I’ve been a critic of Barnes in the middle of this season and I still think I was justified at the time because he wasn’t playing to his best and I believe it was in his head and he would come round eventually.

Last night, he did! He proved he can do it and did it for 90mins, it was awesome and he proved without doubt that he deserves his place in the team. I’m glad he scored and also that is was from the Lua Lua > Vicente set-up, those three together were a great attacking force last night.
